Strengthen career prospects in the plastics industry with SKZ qualifications
The shortage of skilled workers is also affecting the plastics industry. The SKZ Plastics Centre is tackling this problem with practical, future-oriented training courses that offer more than just a certificate: SKZ qualifications enable both career changers and experienced professionals to develop their careers, thereby actively contributing to securing skilled workers in the industry.
One example of this is the ‘Plastics Processing Specialist’ qualification, which was developed specifically for people who work with various processing methods. One of the graduates is Christopher Stark, who completed the training course with enthusiasm.
‘I decided to take the course to understand my products even better and to be able to offer customers more certainty – that creates trust.
The course was intuitively structured, covered all the essential topics, and the instructors were highly motivated, well prepared and very personable in their dealings with the participants,’ says Stark.
Anne David also passed the exam successfully – both now proudly bear the title ‘Plastics Processing Specialist’.
In addition, SKZ offers numerous specialised qualifications, for example in extrusion, compounding, thermoforming and other processing methods. For those who want to delve deeper into materials and their properties, the qualification as a ‘Plastics Material Expert’ is the ideal choice – especially for specialists in materials development or testing.
