Under the title "Plastic Films in Mobility," this well-established technical conference, running for more than 15 years, focuses on design and technology trends in automotive interior and exterior applications.
This year's event follows the motto: RESILIENCE through INNOVATION.
The European automotive and plastics industry is experiencing one of the most challenging phases in its history. While Chinese competitors are capturing the market with low-cost energy and government support, European manufacturers are struggling with rising energy costs, stricter regulations, and the structural transformation towards electric mobility. Simultaneously, overcapacity, weakening demand, and import pressure are leading to plant closures and job losses.
In this environment, RESILIENCE becomes the crucial success factor. Only through consistent INNOVATION can we regain our competitiveness and successfully manage the transformation. Film technology plays a key role: it enables weight reduction for…

In this environment, RESILIENCE becomes the crucial success factor. Only through consistent INNOVATION can we regain our competitiveness and successfully manage the transformation. Film technology plays a key role: it enables weight reduction for e-mobility, supports the circular economy through recyclable materials, and offers cost-efficient solutions for mass production.
The technical conference sets new impulses for resilient business models and innovative technologies. We examine how digitalization creates new applications for films, how sustainability requirements lead to cooperative solutions in the supply chain, and how European companies can strengthen their market position through technological excellence.
Use this conference platform for personal exchange, networking with international and interdisciplinary experts, and visit the accompanying trade exhibition. The conference illuminates all aspects of film technology across the entire process chain – from sustainable film production through innovative printing and forming technologies to advanced integration processes and recycling solutions.
Together we create RESILIENCE through INNOVATION.
