The SKZ Plastics Center’s training facility in Peine has named Karl Schöngen KG a “Premium Education Partner 2025.” With this honor, the SKZ recognizes the company’s long-standing collaboration and ongoing commitment to professional development and expertise.

SKZ and Karl Schöngen KG have been collaborating in the field of continuing education for more than 15 years. The focus is particularly on certifications in plastic joining, including training courses for plastic welders in accordance with DVS 2281 and DVS 2282.
In addition, training courses in injection molding were conducted, such as those for Certified Set-Up Operators and on typical injection molding defects.
SKZ honors ongoing collaboration

Managing Director Carlo Schöngen emphasizes: “The Peine location has long been an integral part of our internal continuing education—both professionally and personally. The collaboration with SKZ is a central cornerstone for us and will be consistently continued in the future.” The company focuses on training early on to remain competitive and innovative in the long term.
Premium Partner Award since 2020
Since 2020, the SKZ has annually awarded the “Premium Partner” distinction to companies that contribute to the further development of the plastics industry in close cooperation with the institute. Since 2024, partners from the research sector have also been honored.
