SKZ Recertified as an AZAV Provider
The SKZ Plastics Center’s continuing training program has once again been certified as an AZAV-accredited provider. This allows the SKZ to offer courses that are funded by the Federal Employment Agency under the Accreditation and Approval Ordinance for Employment Promotion (AZAV). Especially during economically challenging times, when companies often have smaller training budgets, this opens up the opportunity to provide targeted training for employees at reduced rates.

Quality Certification for SKZ’s Training Programs Opens New Opportunities for Companies and Employees
The certification confirms the educational institution’s high quality standards. At the same time, SKZ is responding to current developments in the plastics industry. Many companies are under economic pressure yet must still ensure that their employees possess the necessary skills. Particularly in quality assurance and in the setup and operation of injection molding machines, there is a growing need for targeted training for career changers.
Training as the Key to Competitiveness

Furthermore, it opens up the opportunity to expand the continuing education offerings in a targeted manner and to reach new participant groups.
Foundation for Future Eligible Training Programs
The provider certification also serves as the foundation for certifying individual continuing education programs under the AZAV. This process is currently underway. Upon successful completion, these programs may become eligible for funding, allowing employees to benefit from cost coverage by the Employment Agency under certain conditions. In this way, the SKZ is laying the groundwork to support companies and employees even more effectively in the future with regard to skills development and securing a skilled workforce.
