SKZ Peine celebrates great success with GW330 training courses in Norderstedt
For three years, the SKZ Plastics Center, in cooperation with EBERO FAB, has been offering training courses for PE pipe welders in accordance with DVGW worksheet GW 330 in Norderstedt. The course, located just outside Hamburg, has proven to be a complete success: in 2025 alone, over 230 participants were trained in the modern training rooms.

Regional SKZ additional offering now established just outside Hamburg
The courses are aimed at pipeline builders who need to regularly refresh their qualifications for welding plastic pipes. These training courses are crucial for the quality of the weld seams and thus for the safety of the gas and water supply.
With the additional location in Norderstedt, SKZ has responded to high demand and offers companies in northern Germany an attractive opportunity to train their skilled workers close to home.
“We are very satisfied and proud of the success of our additional regional offering in Norderstedt. The consistently positive feedback from participants confirms that this decision has met the needs of companies,” says Andreas Grzeskowiak, site manager of the SKZ in Peine.
The cooperation with EBERO FAB enables training courses to be held in spacious seminar rooms with state-of-the-art media technology and a fully equipped workshop. This ensures the proven SKZ quality in northern Germany as well.
In view of the continuing high demand, the SKZ is planning further GW 330 training courses in Norderstedt in the future. This will consistently expand the successful offering and further strengthen the regional qualification of skilled workers in northern Germany.
