The event will focus on technical presentations and live demonstrations of the latest developments in the field of electromechanical injection molding technology. At the same time, the differences between hydraulic and electric drive concepts will be highlighted, and their potential applications in various production environments will be discussed.
“The demands on plastics processing are constantly evolving. With our information day, we want to offer users the opportunity not only to learn about modern machine and automation technologies, but also to experience their benefits firsthand in practical applications,” says Jürgen Kern, site manager of the SKZ training center in Horb am Neckar.
Automation and Mold Technology in Synergy
In addition to machine technology, the focus is on automation, hot-runner technology, and temperature control. Experts will demonstrate how integrated linear robots make production processes more efficient and increase process reliability. Furthermore, current solutions for direct side injection using hot-runner technology, as well as various concepts for mold temperature control, will be presented.
Participants will gain a comprehensive overview of the interactions between the machine, the mold, and peripheral equipment along the entire process chain.
Experience technology and exchange insights
A special focus is placed on practical demonstrations. Modern electric injection molding machines from BOY will be demonstrated live, enabling direct interaction with machine and application experts. The program is complemented by numerous networking opportunities, allowing participants to discuss current challenges and potential solutions with industry colleagues.
The Info Day will take place on November 18, 2026, at the SKZ in Horb am Neckar. Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required.
