TOP EVENT chaired by Dr. Jürgen Troitzsch: Papers on 3D printing, e-mobility, railways, facades, flame retardants and applications/analytics with speakers from universities/institutes (Finland, France, Germany, USA) and industry (BASF, Budenheim, Byk, Clariant, Covestro, Farrell, Martinswerk). Register now!
The virtual conference on trends in fire safety and innovative flame retardants for plastics will focus on the latest status and trends in fire safety regulations and tests, environmental aspects and sustainability, as well as on the advances in innovative flame retardant systems and their use in polymers. In addition, this conference will aim at presenting R&D innovations from academia and institutes and their possible transfer to industrial applications.
Flame retardants are chemicals that are added to plastics in order to improve their fire safety. Many plastics are highly flammable. Their flame resistance is increased by adding flame retardants to reduce the risk of fire. Plastics flammability is a highly important consideration in many industries, including building and construction, mass transportation, electrical and electronic equipment, wire and cable, as well as upholstered furniture and textiles.
The conference will address and update latest developments on flame retardants and fire safety for plastics:
The conference on trends in fire safety and flame retardants for plastics will take place ONLINE and give you the opportunity to discuss and network with leading experts and speakers from Germany and abroad on relevant fire regulations and testing methods, new national and international fire safety standards, new technologies and testing procedures, as well as novel flame retardants and formulations to improve the fire safety of your products.
The conference chairman and all our scheduled speakers will have pleasure in debating challenges and issues with you online to find solutions to your specific needs. For this, you will be immediately connected via video stream. Screen sharing is available for short presentations or discussions.
All presentations will be given in English.
