Recertification for plastics welders (DVS 2212-1)
Course Overview
*Price for supervision per day, plus the cost of the practical exam, depending on the type and number of sub-groups selected. This course is exempt from sales tax. Depending on the number of sub-groups selected, the course may also last 2 days.
Overview
The renewal examination is mandatory for those who wish to renew their certification in accordance with DVS 2212-1.
Note regarding the examination
The certification under DVS 2212-1 is valid for one year. However, it may be extended by the accredited testing body if the welder’s work during practical activities is systematically monitored and documented by the company’s plastic welding specialist in accordance with DVS 2213. If no plastic welding specialist in accordance with DVS 2213 is employed by the company or if systematic monitoring does not take place, the retest must be taken annually!
Certain eligibility requirements apply for participation in the examinations according to DVS guidelines.
