SKZ signs agreement with Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (ADQCC), UAE
SKZ further extends its business activities in Middle East: a cooperation between the Abu Dhabi government entity QCC and SKZ underlines the efforts of both parties of promoting a culture of quality and will contribute to the benefit of plastics industry in Middle East.
QCC aims to raise the quality of Abu Dhabi’s exports and products traded locally. QCC's mission is to lead and develop an efficient, effective and globally integrated quality infrastructure in Abu Dhabi that enhances industrial development and competitiveness as well as it ensures consumer safety. Its key stakeholders include regulatory authorities, consumers, retailers and wholesalers, industry, conformity assessment bodies (CABs) and importers.
Within the QCC, the Conformity Schemes Services Sector collaborates with relevant parties (both regulators and industry) to produce certification schemes that contain quality and/or safety requirements for various products, personnel and services. The complying products, personnel or services receive a certificate of conformity from QCC and are given the right to bear the AD Trustmark.
SKZ as recognized conformity assessment body (CAB)
Valuing SKZ's extensive expertise in the plastics testing and certification field, international accreditations and its Middle East affiliate, QCC has chosen to collaborate with SKZ. The agreement enables SKZ Plastics Laboratories Middle East L.L.C. to provide QCC with its product conformity assessment services to achieve QCC certification of PE, PP-R and PE-RT plastic pipes for their customers.
SKZ looks forward to establishing a successful long-term business relationship with QCC in Abu Dhabi and trusts that its scope of services will greatly contribute to the benefit of the plastics industry in Middle East.
