J&M Analytik AG starts cooperation with the SKZ
Process monitoring technology in plastics processing as the common objective
J&M Analytik AG is intensifying their activities in the field of plastics processing. For this purpose, they have started a cooperation with the SKZ.
The J&M Analytik AG is a global manufacturer and service provider in the field of UV/VIS/NIR spectroscopy. The company has over 20 years of experience in the development of analysis systems for research and industry. Their main activity is spectroscopy in the fields of forensics, materials science, pharmaceutical as well as laboratory and process analytics.
Another promising application field for spectroscopy is plastics processing. To intensify the activities in this area, J&M has entered into cooperation with the SKZ. The SKZ as the biggest plastics institute in Germany and partner to the plastics industry for over 50 years is the partner of choice.
The cooperation between J&M and the SKZ is to spur the process monitoring technology in the plastics technology in particular by determining important quality parameters through spectroscopy with simple, robust and inexpensive sensors. The focus lies on injection molding, extrusion and compounding.
To highlight this cooperation, J&M has joined the SKZ’s extensive network.
