With the rotary rheometer the viscoelastic properties of thin fluid samples up to solids can be determined as a function of shear, time, frequency and temperature. Measurements can be performed in s temperature range from -15 °C to 400 °C, in a frequency range from 10-5 to 100 Hz (oscillation) and in a shear rate range up to 1571 s-1 (rotation).
The investigations are carried out with a plate-plate device (diameter 20 mm). For hardening materials (e.g. adhesives or resins) there are one-way measurement systems available.
