Testing of sanitary tapware and building valves
In our accredited testing laboratory we test component properties of sanitary tapware and building valves for water installation.
Valve testing includes: leakage and vacuum testing, endurance testing, flow rate testing, sensitivity testing, strength testing, corrosion testing.
Following products are currently being tested: single taps and combination taps, outlet valves, mixing taps, single-lever mixers, mechanically adjustable mixers, self-closing taps and mixers, thermostatic mixers, taps or valves with electronic opening and closing function, showers, shower hoses, non-return valves, connecting hoses, automatic shut-off valves and special valves.
In addition, we can carry out corrosion tests and chemical analyses of the valve materials. Heavy metals in the valve material and galvanic coatings can also be investigated.
As part of the hygiene testing of products in contact with drinking water, we will be happy to help you with tests for the KTW and DVGW W 270.
Development work and assessments of defective valves complete our testing program.
Our testing laboratory is an accredited test centre of the DVGW and SVGW. This is certified by the DAkkS (German Accreditation Body) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. This enables us to create a solid basis for the quality and safety of your products.
