For 50 years now we have been providing testing services for plastics and plastic products in accordance with national and international standards. In 1993 our testing laboratory was accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. Testing is one of the core competences of SKZ. We offer a wide range of services, including mechanical-technological, chemical-analytical, electrical, optical, thermal and climatic testings as well as flammability tests and creep tests of plastics and plastic products.

Accreditation comprises approx. 1,000 standards, guidelines and regulations. This makes SKZ one of the largest accredited testing laboratories for plastics in Europe.

In addition to the analysis of plastics and plastic products our testing laboratory provides further services including component parts testing under various conditions of load and stress to ensure long-term application. The range of testing services offered by SKZ also includes non-destructive testing methods, such as computer tomography, thermography and ultrasonic testing. We give expert opinions to courts and provide failure analyses of moulded parts.
